The First Pluto Return of the United States

On February 22, 2022, just two days prior to the invasion of Ukraine, Pluto returned to the exact same degree it was when the Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4, 1776. Born with Pluto on the 27th degree of Capricorn, the US saw in the past couple of years its status and power be challenged by global players, namely Russia and China.
The first-ever Pluto return of the US has underscored the large-scale metamorphosis and crisis the country has been going through. It is also exposing the shadows of its society, including the negative patterns around racial and economic disparities. The country’s most deeply hidden corruption or agendas are being brought to the surface. Themes around money and power have been emphasised, especially personal values and finance, as Pluto is positioned in the 2nd house of the country’s natal chart. Changes related to these themes will likely be radical so that new, better systems can be built from scratch.
More specifically, this astrological configuration could potentially lead to a significant crisis in commercial real estate, as Capricorn represents status, institutions, and property, while the 2nd house is linked to money, personal finance, and small banks. This crisis could be more severe than the one in 2008 due to the increased stress in the US birth chart's 2nd house caused by Pluto's return.
