In 2002, Canadian psychologists Delroy Paulhus and Kevin Williams introduced the concept of the Dark Triad1, composed of what they termed Malignant Narcissism, Machiavellianism, and Psychopathy. This classification has since become widely used in forensic, clinical, and organisational psychology.
